Sonny was born on May 19, 1939 in Easton, MD. From a very early age he had an immense love for the outdoors, water (mostly the Choptank and Tuckahoe rivers) and all things Eastern Shore. He was an avid hunter and fishermen, who also love woodworking. In middle school he met Martha Bonner. They share one daughter, Tammy Wooters. Sonny worked in retail markets before opening up his own store Sonny’s Market in Hillsboro and ran the store for many years. Sonny is survived by his first wife Martha Passwaters, his daughter, Tammy Wooters, her two children Charity Boyce (Roger), and Danielle Wooters, three great grandchildren Destiny Cardwell (Robbie), Joshua Mullen (Amanda), and Jason “Matt” Tyo, and great great granddaughter Olivia Cardwell. Sonny was predeceased in death by his mother Edith Mae Marshall. The family is planning a remembrance gathering, in the spring, at the Choptank River.
