This position presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our digital revenue growth by forging strong relationships with local businesses on Delmarva and o ering them tailored digital advertising solutions through our inhouse, full-service digital agency. Leveraging the established reputation and engaged audience of our niche brand, The Guide, the successful candidate will be well-positioned to cultivate a new book of digital business, exceeding sales targets and fostering steady account growth. Key Responsibilities: • New Business Development: Proactively identify and engage potential clients, focusing primarily on securing new digital advertising contracts. • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through in-person meetings, presentations, and ongoing communication. • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute e ective sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue goals. • Sales Presentations: Create compelling sales materials and deliver persuasive presentations that highlight the value of our digital advertising solutions. • Omnichannel Campaigns: Be adaptable and open to integrating print advertising with digital components to create comprehensive omnichannel campaigns that meet clients’ needs. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and the broader OMG team to identify opportunities, share insights, and maximize digital revenue potential. • Customer Retention: Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term retention. • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital advertising technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications and Skills: • Digital Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in media digital sales, with a deep understanding of digital advertising products, platforms, and strategies. • Sales Management: 2-3 years of experience in sales management, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a sales team. • Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and close deals. • Organization: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Self-Motivation: Driven and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset. • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs. • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills to address challenges and find creative solutions.
