SATURDAY, MARCH 8 FROM 11 AM - 4 PM ChocolateFest in St. Michaels The Town of St. Michaels The 7th Annual St. Michaels ChocolateFest will include restaurant chefs conjuring up amazing delectable special menu items to showcase chocolate inspired dishes and desserts. The Chocolate Crawl will take place throughout the Town of St. Michaels at participating businesses and restaurants. There will be no tickets sold in advance, so come hungry and bring cash to pay for delectable items. Purchase tasting samples directly from participating Tasting Venues. Recently, another group of magnificent women has garnered the attention of the American people—the Secret Rosies of WWII. Milton Theatre Quayside features a Beer Garden & Milton Theatre Food Stall. FRIDAY, MARCH 14 FROM 10:15AM - 3PM Homeschool Art Workshop: Weaving the Bay Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum 213 N. Talbot St., Saint Michaels, MD During this art workshop, homeschool students will get creative to make wonderful tapestries inspired by the Chesapeake Bay and its critters. All materials are provided by CBMM as part of the registration cost. Pre-registration is required. The morning session (10:15-12:15pm) is designed for students ages 5-10, while the afternoon session (1-3pm) is designed for students 10-13. Cost: $15 per student. Join us for an engaging morning where students ages 2-12 yrs are invited to participate in our nature-based learning & play provocations! Children will dive into hands-on, nature-based activities that reflect what they’ll experience as ROOTS students. This will also show other alternative ways of schooling for those students that may learn differently than traditional education. Activities are designed to inspire creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity in a fun, outdoor-focused environment. Students will rotate through di¦erent learning provocation stations ranging from nature art, mindfulness, sensory activities, STEAM challenges, and more, while also integrating academics. THURSDAY, MARCH 6 FROM 5 - 9PM RAL x DAC’s Pop-Up Art Show Shorebreak Lodge 10 Wilmington Ave., Rehoboth Beach, DE 20 participating member artists from DAC and RAL will display original work that will be available for purchase directly from the artist. The event will also function as a Dine-to-Donate, with a portion of the food and drink proceeds benefiting both art groups. Jazz musicians Sharon Sable and Joe Holt will play throughout the evening, allowing attendees to enjoy a delightful dinner featuring fine art, music, and beverages! No tickets are required to attend the event, but reservations are recommended. Come out and celebrate the creative spirit of the Delaware Beaches and help make 2025 a year of limitless creativity!
